Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and the families who are part of the Chemen Lavi Miyò program are among the most impoverished in the country. Living on less than $2 per day, these families are often forced to send their children into the streets to beg rather than into schools where they belong. That's where we come in. With the built-in donation from each purchase our customers make, we are able to help send children to school for an entire year while Fonkoze works to help lift the families out of poverty. With each bag sold, our customers are playing an invaluable role in helping these children, and their communities, secure a brighter future.
