Sancia was born in the cool quiet hills of Clarendon Jamaica, the youngest of nine children raised by Huby & Avis Powis. As a little girl, Sancia dreamt about someday owning her own business. After high school, she pursued her passion and started her studies in hospitality and tourism management. In 2003 she moved to the U.S where she continued her studies during which she founded a new love for fashion. This love of fashion has transformed into Spfh.co. With the help of her business partner Andre McCarthy who graduated with a masters degree in information Network and computer Security from New York Institute of technology, she was able to make her dream of being a business owner a reality.
