Ripple Digital Publishing is announcing a really exciting initiative called Kids Write 4 Kids. Children in grades 1 to 6 can submit their own original stories for their chance to become a published ebook author.This is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring authors as well as a great classroom activity. We want to support and encourage children in their reading and writing development by giving them the chance to share their unique stories with other children around the world. We believe this challenge can further support literacy by encouraging children to read and write in the digital realm that they are so familiar with.
Ripple Digital Publishing calls for stories for kids by kids. Winning submissions will be available for sale globally from the Apple iBookstore and Amazon’s Kindle store through Ripple Digital Publishing ebooks with net proceeds donated to First Book Canada – a charitable organization providing access to books for children in need.
